Scoring Criteria ( Professional )
People need to realise that the judges use a specific scoring criteria to judge professional rounds. The combination of all 4 improve the chances of a fighter outpointing their opponent.

3 professional judges decide your fate and they all have to be in agreement to be awarded for a comfortable decision.

A mind trick that people/spectators use to determine a winner of a round is to ask the question "Who would I rather be, if I was in the ring". Just remember, its a judging system so judges may assess a fight based on their perspective.

Moral of the story, make sure that you win rounds as clearly as you can or better still knockout your foe.
10 Point System
The 10-point system was first established in 1968 by the World Boxing Council (WBC) as a logical way of scoring fights. It was seen as such because it granted judges the ability to reward knockdowns and recognise the superior fighter during close rounds.

The boxer who controls the round usually gets 10, while their competitor gets 9 points. Making the final score of that specific round 10-9.
If the dominate boxer knocks down his or her opponent's then an extra point will be subtracted, hence making it a 10-8 round to the winner of the round.

Exceptions occur if for example, a fighter is winning a round but he/she is unfortunately knocked down in the process, the judge can agree to make the round even with a 9-9 round.

Weather if a fighter goes 4 or 12 rounds, points are collected and the fighter with the highest point obviously wins.
Ways of being victorious.
There’s more than one way to win a boxing match so we will be breaking them down into specifics.
