Stances

1
Southpaw
Left handed stance
Lefty
Very simple, leading with your right foot and right glove leading. By you leading the right side of your body closer to your opponent, your right glove would be your jab ( Non Power shot) with your left hand coming from further back to generate that power to hurt (Straight/cross). These fighters tend to be left handed most of the time.

Gevonta Davis is a left handed southpaw where his dominate hand comes from further back to land that left cross/straight. Alternatively, you can be a right handed southpaw like Shakur Stevenson where he leads with his dominate right hand out of the left handed stance.

Simple right?

Right handed Stance
Conventional Stance
The common and conventional stance for all of the right handers of the world (Including me). A mirror image of southpaw, but this time you lead with your left foot and hand forward.
Power shots such has the right cross would be coming from furtherback to generate that power to hurt.
Fighters like Anthony Joshua and Canelo Alvarez who are both right handed and fight out of the Orthodox stance.

There are some left handed Orthodox fighters like Andre Ward who is a left handed fighter whom opted to fight out of the right handed stance.

Switch Hitter
Switcher
These are fighters who want it all and couldn't pick a struggle when choosing a stance. These fighters switch stances seamlessly throughout a fight and the aim is to confuse you enough enough to land something.
Don't fall for it and be aware.
